Cabin tents make camping more fun for families
sponsored links
Going on a camping trip with lots of family and friends? Then a cabin tent might be just what you're looking for to accommodate the crowd. Don't get pinched for room to move around in your tent -- and end up stuck with sleeping in the crowd.
You could, of course, settle for groups of small tents, but a well-made cabin tent offers advantages of roominess with that "community" experience you were looking for when you all piled into your vehicles and set out on the camping trip!
A good cabin tent will be large enough for six to eight people, maybe even more, and you likely can find one with separate "rooms" built in. No more worries about shuffling around with your head down and bent back -- enjoy the camping experience with room for your whole group.
A word to the wise: A cabin tent with separate rooms may still have serious "privacy" issues. After all, we're still talking about a nylon or canvas wall that's probably not thick enough for real privacy. But just having wall separations offers you a certain amount of privacy.
A good cabin tent of nylon or other synthetic material is a good choice if you need to be concerned about weight and the size of the tent for toting it around. In addition, the same light-weight synthetics that make hauling and setting up smaller tents easier than in years gone by, certainly applies to these larger tents. Plus, a good nylon/synthetic tent, no matter what the size, has weatherization advantages over older canvas models. This makes such cabins a great choice for all seasons.
