Grab your tent, take along your family and your best friends, and enjoy the beauties of fall hiking and camping.

Fall hiking and camping is one of the best ways to enjoy the beauties of outdoor life. Enjoy the cool, crisp air, and the changing foliage colors. Say goodbye to summer's long-gone (or hopefully at least waning) heat and humidity, bid hello to cooler temps and the beauties of mountains, streams, and forests!

But, of course, the question comes to mind: What do you do if you live in a land of perpetual heat and sunshine, without a forested mountain or even hill in sight? How can you take advantage of changing foliage and cool streams, nighttime camaraderie around the campire??

If autumn never comes to you where you live -- you can travel to autumn and visit where she (he? it?) lives. Whether by car, RV, train, or plane, get out there and enjoy a spectacular fall foliage tour to such places as New England, any of the western mountain regions, the Atlantic coastal forest regions, the Pacific Northwest -- there are many, many such foliage tours you can book at wonderful prices.

Be sure to take a look at traveling to one of the hundreds of national and state parks in the U.S. that offer great locations for fall hiking and camping, bursting with the colors of autumn.

So, quick, before autumn has gone away for another year, fire up that Internet browser and make some reservations. Or, be spontaneous, pack up that autumn camping gear, pile the whole gang into the jalopy (or SUV, or RV, or van, or whatever ...) and get out of the house and into the woods for a beautiful fall hiking and camping trip. Do it now. Your busy life will be here waiting for you when you get back.

But perhaps a good time in the beautiful autumn outdoor world will make your entire life look better when you get back to it!
